A Word on the Colony
Another personal favorite of mine: Spath!
I first brought this piece in back in 2023. When it arrived, it was mostly yellow, but over time the color just kept getting richer and richer. This year, it has turned into a really saturated orange, which I think is pretty unusual for Spath.
Recently, I’ve been really happy to find out that there are quite a few people who love Spath as much as I do. A few people who bought frags asked me what the mother colony looks like, and that’s when I realized I’ve actually never shared it before.
The shape and placement of the colony make it pretty hard to photograph, so I kept putting it off.
So… today is the day. Here’s the mother colony.
