A Word of the Coral
TIA Sunfire Nectar Selago is a beautiful and uncommon color expression of Acropora selago. The coral displays a striking blend of warm red tones intertwined with bright yellow highlights, creating a glowing sunfire-like contrast that is rarely seen in this species.
This piece also comes from a well-established colony that has matured over time in our system. Its stability and coloration reflect a healthy aquaculture lineage that has proven itself in a reef aquarium environment.
Care Requirements
Lighting
Moderate to High PAR (250–400). Strong blue-spectrum reef lighting enhances the red and yellow coloration.
Water Flow
Moderate to Strong, turbulent flow. Good randomized flow supports healthy tissue and natural growth patterns typical of Acropora selago.
Placement
Best placed in the upper half of a mature reef aquarium where stable parameters and strong lighting support SPS coral growth.
