A Word of the Coral
TIA Neon Mosaic Grafted Tenuis is a unique Acropora tenuis that developed its signature coloration over time in our system. After nearly two years growing in TIA’s display reef, the coral began expressing a striking grafted pattern where bright neon gold and deep sapphire blue intertwine across the branches, forming a natural mosaic effect.
Grafted SPS corals like this are highly sought after by collectors because each branch can display slightly different color patterns, making every colony unique. Under strong reef lighting and stable parameters, the contrast between the golden tissue and blue base becomes increasingly vibrant.
Care Requirements
Lighting
Moderate to High PAR (250–400). Best coloration develops under strong blue-spectrum reef lighting such as Radion, Hydra, or other SPS-focused LED systems.
Water Flow
Moderate to Strong, turbulent flow. Randomized circulation helps maintain healthy tissue and encourages full polyp extension typical of Acropora tenuis.
Placement
Best placed in the upper half of a mature reef aquarium where stable parameters, strong lighting, and adequate flow support SPS growth.

Salinity: 1.025–1.026
Alkalinity: 8–9 dKH
Calcium: 400–450 ppm
Magnesium: 1300–1400 ppm
