A Word About the Coral

TIA Mirage Tenuis has a deep pink and purple body with bright blue growth tips and vivid yellow corallites.

The colors blend together almost like a mirage, especially when viewed from different angles. It is colorful without looking overly busy and stands out easily in an SPS collection.

Care Requirements

Lighting

Moderate to High PAR (250–400). Blue-spectrum reef lighting helps bring out the blue tips, pink body, and yellow corallites.

Water Flow

Moderate to Strong, turbulent flow.

Placement

Best placed in the upper half of a mature reef aquarium with stable parameters and consistent flow.
