A Word of the Coral
I imported Crimson Fever Rosaria in 2020, and at first I honestly wondered if it might be the same coral as FlameThrower. After six years of growing it, though, Crimson Fever has developed a personality of its own. As a smooth-skin lover, the biggest difference I see is the color: Flame Thrower tends to look more orange-pink in my tank, while Crimson Fever leans toward a much brighter true red, paired with a golden base. That’s how it earned the name Crimson Fever.
Name: Crimson Fever
Type: Acropora Rosaria
Coloration: Intense crimson-to-magenta body with golden polyp mouths and lavender-purple highlights
Style: Fiery, dense, and opulent — a visual heatwave wrapped in gemstone tones
Growth: Thick, compact branching with uniform polyp stacking and rich surface detail
Lighting & Flow: High PAR / Strong, alternating flow to reveal color layering and accentuate texture
Origin: Grown in TIA’s legacy display tank,hand-fragged for limited release
Fresh Cut Healing: Fresh-cut frags usually require about 1-2 weeks of recovery to ensure they are healthy and safe to ship. We prioritize coral health before shipment.
