What is TIA Midas Touch Tenuis?
TIA Midas Touch Tenuis is an Acropora tenuis that stands out for exceptionally rich golden coloration — bright yellow-gold tones that give it an intense, glowing appearance — made more distinctive by contrasting red polyp extension. When fully extended, the red fuzzy polyps spread through the branches in a warm, fiery contrast against the golden body.
The story
The name says it: heavy gold coloration that reads like it glows in the reef tank. What keeps it from being just another gold coral is the red polyp extension — fully extended, the fuzzy red polyps run throughout the branches and set up a fiery warm contrast that makes this coral easy to recognize even in a densely packed SPS collection. Grown in TIA's established reef system and hand-fragged for limited release.
