A Word of the Coral
TIA Signature Macaron Sakura Acropora is one of the most striking pieces in our system. Under strong reef lighting, the coral develops a radiant golden glow layered with soft sakura tones, creating a luminous contrast that immediately stands out in any SPS-dominated reef tank.
The coloration is both vibrant and refined — bright yet elegant — which is why this piece has quickly become a favorite among serious SPS collectors. When grown under stable reef conditions with strong PAR and flow, the coral continues to deepen in color while forming elegant branching typical of high-end Acropora.
Care Requirements
Lighting
Moderate to High PAR (250–400). Best coloration develops under strong blue-spectrum reef lighting such as Radion, Hydra, or other SPS-focused LED systems.
Water Flow
Moderate to Strong, turbulent flow. Randomized circulation encourages healthy tissue growth and full polyp extension typical of Acropora.
Placement
Best placed in the upper half of a mature reef aquarium where stable parameters, strong lighting, and adequate flow support SPS coral growth.
