A Word of the Coral
Blue Reactor looks charged—pure cobalt branches stacked with tight, round corallite shields, each mouth flashing a faint neon core like a reactor port. Under heavy actinic the colony reads ultra-clean and monochrome, throwing a cool, technical glow that cuts through the reefscape. Sleek, modern, unmistakably blue.
Name: Blue Reactor
Type: Acropora Tenuis
Coloration: Deep cobalt/indigo branches with ice-blue corallite lips and subtle neon-yellow mouths
Style: Monochrome, futuristic, “reactor-core” glow
Growth: Compact upright branching; densely layered corallite crowns; medium polyp extension
Lighting & Flow: Moderate–high PAR (250–350) to maintain saturated blue; steady randomized flow for smooth tips and tight polyp set
Origin: Grown in TIA’s legacy display tank,hand-fragged for limited release
Fresh Cut Healing: Fresh-cut frags usually require about 1-2 weeks of recovery to ensure they are healthy and safe to ship. We prioritize coral health before shipment.
